Why TCCA?

Regarding your child’s education, what road are they traveling? Given an average 35+ hour education week, what worldview is your child being taught?

At TCCA, we strive for a Christ-honoring, academically rigorous education for our students. We don’t believe a Christian education simply adds a Bible class and chapel alongside other subjects, but rather all subjects are taught as part of an integrated whole. Our teachers point all discussions back to the beauty and order God placed in creation and our role as humans created to reflect His image and steward that creation.

Experiential Learning

Our goal is to educate the whole person. In addition to teaching a Christian worldview in all subjects, we stress experiential learning. Our small class sizes allow for frequent field trips to area businesses, natural environments, museums, learning centers and other places of interest that complement the students’ classroom lessons. We believe this increases the effectiveness of learning by engaging students in critical thinking, problem solving and decision making.

We also teach Life Skills. Our students get hands-on experience with skills like gardening, raising chickens, sewing, cooking and managing finances. Students learn everything from proper etiquette to how to change a tire.
