Malik Gardner
Upper School Mathematics
I was born in Horry County, South Carolina. At the age of two, I was adopted by my mother, Elder Ella Gardner, resident of Aiken, S.C. I was brought up and nurtured in the Christian faith to believe in the word of God so that I can be respected and help others. My extended family of aunts and uncles, and my pastor, have provided me with role models who have helped mold my character and integrity over the years.
I currently attend Zion Hopewell Full Gospel Family Worship Center in Gilbert, South Carolina. I was licensed as a minister on December 29, 2013, and then later on March 1, 2025 ordained as an Elder in the local church. I have been in ministry for over 14 years and am an active member. I am involved in our Youth and Young Adult Ministry, the Prophetic Development Department, Greeter’s Ministry, and much more.
I graduated from the University of South Carolina-Aiken with a Bachelor of Science degree in Middle Level Education-Mathematics. I am planning within the next year to continue pursuing education and get a Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction.
Currently, this year will mark my fifth year teaching, but my first year with TCCA. I am excited and looking forward to an amazing year as we grow, expand, and finish strong in faith
together.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Be Joyful always; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
