I have been with Town Creek Christian Academy since it opened. I started out in Early Education (TCEE) as a Preschool Teacher. In 2022 I moved to the Academy side as a 2nd grade teacher. I have a passion for teaching all ages in a fun and interactive environment. My classroom motto is "Love them first, teach them second." I want my students to know that my classroom and me as a teacher are safe zones for them to grow and thrive, academically, spiritually and emotionally.

 

Fun Fact about me: I was raised by 2 deaf parents. As a result I also have a love for teaching others about deaf culture and American Sign Language (ASL). When I moved to the Academy, I was given the opportunity to teach a high school course in ASL. It is so fulfilling to see these students desire to learn about a different culture and language! I enjoy coffee, Clemson, sea turtles and the beach! I am looking forward to a great year here at TCCA!
