Hello!  My name is Michelle Griffin, and I will be the art teacher for TCCA!  I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from Pennsylvania College of Art and Design.  I also have a teaching degree from Millersville University in Art Education.  I have two boys who will attend school with me at TCCA, Mark and Luke.  My husband Matthew is one of the greatest patrons of the arts!  My family feels so blessed to become a part of this great school. 

In my classroom, I incorporate literacy and books anywhere I can.  Younger students will have an art project connected with a book.  Older students will focus on confidence and skills building in the arts.  I also like to work in other subjects like math and science, everywhere I can.  Recently, I was the recipient of a STEM grant for cardboard cutting materials.  My classes will enjoy having new tools to create art with. 

I am so excited to share the gifts and talents God has given me with others!  I look forward to a great year!
